It's not luck...

Six weeks into the NFL season and we're starting to see the men separate from the boys. Only 4 teams remain undefeated and every one of those is a force to be reckoned with. Most surprising of all those by far, are the now 6-0 Denver Broncos. Why? Trading a franchise QB (Jay Cutler, never liked him) for relatively unknown Orton from the Bears. On top of that, they let go of (probably) hall of fame coach Mike Shanahan and hired a 32 year old kid. Well like everyone else I thought this was all luck up to this point. But for a team to be undefeated in week 6, it's definitely not luck. The other three are now the Vikings, Saints, and Colts. This is a great year in the NFL, probably my favorite so far with Brett Favre having his best start ever, the Titans going 0-6 and losing 59-0 (I don't like Kerry Collins) to the Patriots, I could go on and on. This is going to be a great year as each week goes by and we really see what teams will emerge, and what teams will step up in the postseason. Tyson, I don't know about your cowboys man, I've seen Romo choke too many times to consider them a contender for the postseason. They need to make a few improvements before they become a great team.

Agreed on many things, including the Cowboys being a contender. They COULD be, but need to figure some things out. Unfortunately Cowboys fans are growing impatient with Romo, I think if he doesn't pull it off this year he should be out. The Broncos do look good, and have definately earned it, but I still believe they are the 4th best of the 4 undefeated. The Saints look the most for real to me, and the demolition of the Titans was beautiful. But my only complaint, being a Brady fantasy owner, is that they didn't win 90-0 with 12 Brady touchdowns and 600 yards passing. I'll take what I got though. Oh, so my email is tysontraveller@gmail.com

I matched-up against the team in our league who has Brady and Wes Welker - as one could imagine, I got smoked! They went gangbusters on the Titans yesterday. Fun to watch, and even more impressive in those snowy conditions.

What's really surprising about the Broncos 180 is Brandon Marshall. With all the offseason drama, troubles with the law, coach, and attitude, I'm really surprised to see him turn things around. He's definitely one of the top receivers in the league when he wants to be. I'd put him up there with Andre Johnson (Go Texans!) and Larry Fitzgerald.

Right now my money is on the Saints. They completely dominated NYG yesterday (previously undefeated). I'm kind of hesitant though, because they've always self-destructed down the stretch, so I guess we'll see. Their offense is a well-oiled machine though. I'm glad I have Pierre Thomas on my fantasy team. Nearly every team in my league has offered me to trade for him, haha. And Drew Brees is certainly having an MVP-worthy season.

I have to say go Broncos! I know that they are the most likely to loose out of all these four teams, but that is what makes it so awesome. They are the underdog the unexpected. I also think that they are the real thing, will they go undefeated probably not. Will they continue to win yes. Look at how well a group of guys who shouldnt be molding together mold together. It is fun to watch.
